Dr. Davis was born and raised in Guthrie, OK. He attended Oklahoma State University where he studied Animal Science before graduating with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. After graduation, Dr. Davis moved to Boston where he worked for 6 years as an associate in a 24-hour referral practice. He returned to Oklahoma in 1998 and became the sole owner of Santa Fe Veterinary Clinic in 2003. Since 1999, the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners has certified him as a diplomate in Canine and Feline Practice. Less than one percent of all active veterinarians worldwide will achieve this status.
Dr. Davis and his wife Tanya have lived in Edmond since 1999 and have four children; Hope, Ben, Grace and Kate. Hope attends the OSU College of Medicine in Tulsa, Ben is an OU law student, Grace is a freshman biology major at OU, and Kate is in her senior year at Santa Fe High School. They currently share their house with 2 rescue cats named Ritchie and Dewey.
In his spare time, Dr. Davis's interests include travel, history, and sports. He is also slowly restoring his grandfather's 1952 Chevy pickup. His current goal is to visit all 62 U.S. National Parks and run his first half marathon.
